As sweltering heat gives way to cool evening breezes, as back-to-school sales give way to fall-fashion finds, as Bay Area traffic worsens from stress-inducing to why-do-I-choose-to-live-here, the summer gently rolls into autumn. It’s made me realize that working with the children’s choir (more on that in a later post), has bumped into a succession of summer houseguests, which has coincided with busier workperiods; and it’s all rolled into two months of neglecting The Rambling Suitcase.
